Unwind with Wines in the Wild at Brookfield Zoo
Annual Women’s Board fundraiser features wine and liquor tastings
 with up-close animal encounters

Brookfield, Ill – Brookfield Zoo’s annual Wines in the Wild fundraiser, which is hosted by the Chicago Zoological Society’s Women’s Board, combines two crowd favorites: wine and wildlife. This year’s tropical-themed event takes place in the Zoo’s newly renovated Discovery Center on Saturday, November 4, from 6 to 10 p.m. Proceeds from the evening will support the education, conservation, and scholarship programming needs that are funded by the Women’s Board.

Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to learn about and sample an array of wines and liquors, provided by the evening’s purveyor, Prestige Countryside Liquors. Accompanying the selection, will be delicious hors d’oeuvres prepared by the Zoo’s catering team, SSA Group.

In addition to meeting several of the Zoo’s animal ambassadors during the event, guests will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of auction items, including an exquisite pair of earrings and a necklace, courtesy of A. Marek Fine Jewelry; tickets to a Mariah Carey concert at the United Center; Blackhawks tickets; travel experiences, wine-themed packages, and the naming rights to Brookfield Zoo’s kangaroo joey and one of its flamingos.

Individual tickets are $300 and include the tasting and Zoo admission parking. Group tickets that include sponsorship opportunities are also available, ranging from $2,500 to $10,000.

For additional information and to purchase tickets, visit CZS.org/WinesintheWild2023.

The Women’s Board of the Chicago Zoological Society supports community outreach, scholarships, and provides financial assistance for animal care, conservation programs, and special projects.
