Brookfield, Ill.—Enjoy bears and beers, lions and lagers, aardvarks and ales—all at Brookfield Zoo’s first annual Zoo Brew, held in collaboration with Burke Beverage, Inc., on Sunday, August 26, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Sample a wide variety of premium microbrews in Brookfield Zoo’s Pavilions. The 21-and-over beer-tasting event will feature more than 40 craft beers represented by 14 breweries: Argus Brewery, Blue Moon, Crispin, Crown Imports, Firestone Walker Brewing Company, Lakefront Brewery, Inc., Leinenkugel’s, Magic Hat Brewing Company, New Belgium Brewing Company, Newcastle, Samuel Adams, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Wild Onion Brewing Co., and Woodchuck Hard Cider. For a complete list of beers that will be served during Zoo Brew, go to www.CZS.org/ZooBrew.
Menu items such as hot dogs, brats, nachos, jumbo soft pretzels, and chips will be available for purchase.

While sampling brewskies, enjoy live music by the Chicago-based band Modern Day Romeos, who will be playing tunes that include Motown classics, classic rock jams, favorites from the ‘80s and ‘90s, and dance and rock of the 2000s. A silent auction will include memorabilia from the participating breweries.

The cost is $45 per person (zoo members receive a $10 discount) and includes tickets for 20 three-ounce samples, a commemorative tasting glass, admission to Brookfield Zoo, and parking. Additionally, there is a special discount ticket of $25, which includes unlimited soft drinks, for designated drivers. Photo IDs required. There are limited tickets available, so get yours today and come party with the animals! Go to www.CZS.org/ZooBrew to order tickets.
