Bison Wild Encounter 2012

Want to learn about the unique relationship of trust and respect between bison and their caregivers only possible in a zoo setting? Work with our keepers for an hour and a half as they get the bison ready for the day, and see what's involved in caring for one of North America's iconic animals. Experience includes diet, habitat preparation, and participants may also be involved in training or enrichment.
Note about Participants Under the Age of 18: Participants must be at least 12-years-old to participate. Participants under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult, who does not have to pay to accompany the minor. (Two minors may participate if they are accompanied by one non-paying adult. If two adults participate with one minor, the second adult must pay for the program.)
*The maximum number of participants for this Wild Encounter is three. A non-paying adult accompanying a minor is counted as a participant. See below for information about the cost of additional participants.
