Share the Care at Brookfield Zoo

 Featured Creatures

Potoka Giraffe
has a curious, sweet, and laid-back personality, and this one-year-old reticulated giraffe is a favorite among the keeper staff at Habitat Africa! The Savannah. (He seems to think keepers are part of his herd! He enjoys receiving treats and scratches from them.) An adoption of Potoka is the perfect gift for someone in your life with the same personality. Just purchase one of the package options below.
Adopt the Potoka Giraffe.

Western Lowland Gorilla Nora is still clinging close to mom, Koola. She was born on November 4, 2013. Western lowland gorillas are considered critically endangered in the wild. As part of our participation in the Species Survival Plan, an inter-zoo managed breeding program, we are contributing to the overall welfare of this species. Adopt the western lowland baby gorilla.

Mexican Gray WolvesMexican Gray Wolves are the rarest subspecies of North American wolves and have been on the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services Endangered Species list since 1976. Fewer than 60 individuals are thought to live in the wild in New Mexico and Arizona. Adopt Mexican Gray Wolves!

Peacocks are the colorful males of the peafowl species native to India and Sri Lanka. Brookfield Zoo has more than 20 peafowl that are free to roam the zoo as they wish, often perching in the trees or on rooftops. Keepers track the birds and provide individualized care as needed. Adopt Peacocks!
