Brookfield, Ill.—Fisher-Price, Inc., the largest infant and preschool toy manufacturer in the world and a subsidiary of Mattel, Inc., will be making Brookfield Zoo one of its stops for its Little People™ Live! Musical Show on Saturday and Sunday, October 1 and 2. Shows will be held at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Young zoogoers can join the Fisher-Price Little People friends in a BIG animal celebration during a 30-minute show that will feature music, singing, dancing, and fun surprises for everyone.

The show, which will be held in the zoo’s Pavilions, costs $2 per person. Reservations are required. Seating is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. To register and for further information, go to www.CZS.org/LittlePeople or call (708) 688-8000. Admission to Brookfield Zoo is $13.50 for adults and $9.00 for children 3 to 11 and seniors 65 and over. Children 2 and under are admitted free.

For more than five decades, Little People toys have inspired fun discoveries and imaginative play for so many preschoolers in a world that’s “just their size” – from timeless playsets like the farm, house and garage to DVDs, CDs, books, games and more! Whether you recall playing with wooden peg figures or colorful chunky characters, these legendary toys have touched many generations with their charm.

The mission of the Chicago Zoological Society, which manages Brookfield Zoo, is to inspire conservation leadership by connecting people with wildlife and nature. Open every day of the year, Brookfield Zoo is located off First Avenue between the Stevenson (I-55) and Eisenhower (I-290) expressways and is also accessible via the Tri-State Tollway (I-294), Metra commuter line, CTA, and PACE bus service.
