Family Sleepover Safari at Brookfield Zoo 2012 Sleepover Safaris

This program is for ages 6 and up with an Adult. Ratio of 5 children to 1 Adult

A zoo is a zoo 24/7 and now you can get a glimse into what happens here at Brookfield Zoo at night!

In the evening, enjoy a pizza dinner and fun crafts activities, then go on a wild night hike that hightlights zoo residents and nocturnal wildlife of Illinois after the hike enjoy a make your own sundae. The next morning, wake up to a hot breakfast buffet, morning hike and visit an animal exhibit where you'll see your craft given to some of the zoo residents.

Dates: 6/22, 7/27, 8/17,10/12, 11/2, and 12/28

Time: 6:30 pm - 9:00 am

The price is $60 per person for members and $70 per person for non-members, it includes all food, crafts, parking and admission for the second day.







X-Treme Bugs Overnight

Come on out and enjoy Brookfield Zoo’s traditional overnight with a twist! Not only will you be enjoying dinner, enrichment activities, and night hike through the zoo, but you will also enjoy a special night hike through our X-Treme Bugs Exhibit! Learn about native and non native bugs and there extreme adaptations! Learn how bugs think, see how bugs see, and test your x-treme abilities! The next morning you will wake up to breakfast, a morning hike, and a visit to an exhibit where you will see your enrichment activities given to some of the resident animals here. This program is for ages 6 and up with a ratio of one adult to five children.
 
Cost is $60 per person for members and groups, and $70 for non-members
 
Creatures of the Night Overnight

This is our most Spook-tacular overnight! The evening will start with a pizza dinner and a meet and greet with your evening staff. Then it is time to explore the park, ride the haunted tram, walk down the trail of terror, visit our alligators and bats...but make sure you are back in the building by 10 p.m…we wouldn’t want anyone to turn into pumpkins!!! Once everyone is back to the discovery center you will learn all about enrichments, and even make one! Then settle in with an ice cream sundae, a movie and lights out! The next morning you will wake up to breakfast, a morning hike, and a visit to an exhibit where you will see your enrichment activities given to some of the resident animals here. This program is for ages 6 and up with a ratio of one adult to five children.
 
Holiday Magic Overnight

ome see the holiday lights with friends and family! The evening will start with a pizza dinner, and then a meet and greet with the staff. Then its time to explore the magic of the holidays with your friends and family! Take advantage of exhibits open late, tram rides, and magical lights the whole family will love. After you are done exploring, you will head back to the Discovery Center to learn about behavioral enrichments for animals and even make some! Then settle in with an ice cream sundae, a movie, and lights out! The next morning you will wake up to breakfast, a morning hike, and a visit to an exhibit where you will see your enrichment activities given to some of the resident animals here. This program is for ages 6 and up with a ratio of one adult to five children.

Members, please note the following:
  • Only those listed on your membership qualify for the member price.
  • In order to receive the member price, all memberships must be current at the time of registration. We will not be able to issue refunds for the member price once you have registered for a program.

An additional reminder about the family classes-only those registered for the class may attend. It is not possible to have additional children (this includes infants) and/or adults attend with you and your child. There is no adult seating so we are not able to accommodate visitors during the time the class meets in the class space. Once the park has opened for the day, at the scheduled opening time, other members of your party are welcome after paying admission fees, to visit in the park during this time and then join the class when we go out into the zoo to visit an exhibit. If you are not able to come with your child for a session, any other adult may attend with the child.
