Brookfield Zoo Updated Statement Regarding School Bus Accident
 
     Brookfield, Ill. — Today at approximately 1:13 p.m. an accident occurred between two school buses at Brookfield Zoo’s main parking lot located at 31^st Street and 1^st Avenue. In addition to Brookfield Zoo’s on-site ambulance local municipalities also provided assistance. A total of 10 students were transported to local medical facilities coordinated by the Brookfield Fire Department and Loyola University Medical Center. The area has been cleared and the North Gate parking lot remains accessible.
