Geographic Distribution:East and central Africa; primarily found in Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Tanzania
Habitat:Primary and secondary lowland and montane forests
Wild Diet:Predominantly leaves but also ripe and unripe fruits and seeds; they have a complex multi-chambered stomach that allows for the digestion of leaves through microbial fermentation.
Zoo Diet:Monkey chow, leafy greens, fruits, veggies, browse, seeds, and nuts
