Sharks! at Stingray Bay, presented by Dominick's, opens on Saturday, May 3, 2008, and features a 16,000 gallon saltwater tank and surrounding tropical paradise. Imagine touching cownose rays and southern stingrays as they glide beneath your fingertips. It's a safe, fun adventure for the whole family.

This year brings even more excitement to the visiting exhibit. Not only can you get in touch with rays, but you'll also get an up-close encounter with some other exciting sea-faring species: nurse and white-spotted bamboo sharks.

But never fear. Stingrays belong to the shark family and—like many of their shark relatives—are extremely calm by nature.

Observe shark behavior up close and interact with rays all summer long. Just make sure you don’t let this amazing opportunity swim away. The exhibit is open for a limited time only, through Labor Day.
