Group sizes range from 10 to 16 people, age 8 and older. A paying adult must accompany children 8 to 11 years old. The cost is $55 per zoo member, $75 for nonmembers.

Winter-Feasts for the Beasts

Hungry for knowledge? Join us on a visit to the Zoo's Commissary, where staff tend to the dietary needs of over 2000 animals on a daily basis. See our specially equipped kitchen and meet our nutrionist who has to please our picky eaters & developed a version of dietary points in our to keep our animals healthy and trim.

Winter - Habitat Africa-The Forest

When was the last time you visited central Africa? Travel to the Ituri Forest with expert staff who know how to care for everything from buffalo to chameleons. Meet a cat-size antelope, and very hairy pig, and the giraffe's closest cousin, the okapi.

Lions, tigers & bears may excite some people, but we know plenty who also love lizards, turtles & frogs. Come meet the keepers who are passionate about poison dart frogs and love nothing more than coaxing a picky snake into finishing a meal.

Winter-Animal Hospital

What do you do when a bird breaks it's prostheic beak again? How about a tiger with a toothache or a polar bear with a sore paw? Join us on a tour of the Animal Hospital, where our team of top notch Veternarians care for our animal collection. See an operating table that can fit a polar bear,water testing lab and even a pharmacy dedicated solely to animals
