Things To Know

Sprouts Get ready for Sprouts!

✔ Disability/Special Needs Questionnaire (Optional) If your child has a disability or special need, we encourage you to complete the Disability/Special Needs Questionnaire. We are committed to ensuring that your child has the best possible experience while at Zoo Camp and you can help us accomplish this. Upon completing registration, you will be sent a link to our Questionnaire. Please fill out as much or as little of this form as you’d like. This form is meant to help us individualize the supports or accommodations your child may need at Zoo Camp. If you choose to complete this form, please submit it at least one week prior to your child’s first day of Zoo Camp so we may plan our staff training and resources accordingly.

✔ Parent Packet Your resource for all things Zoo Camp! This comprehensive packet includes everything you need to know to prepare for Zoo Camp: what to bring, how to dress, where to go, and more! You will receive this packet via e-mail about one week before the start of your camp session. Make sure to add AdventuresInLearning@CZS.org to your trusted e-mail contacts so that important communications are not blocked by spam filters.

Sprouts Rescheduling, Cancellation, and Refund Policies

Rescheduling: At this time, only one session of Sprouts is available (April 1/3/5, 2019). Because of this, we are unable to reschedule your child to an alternate session. Please refer to the cancellation policy.

Cancellations and Refunds: We require that ALL cancellations must be in writing; please send an email to adventuresinlearning@CZS.org. Zoo Camp registration fees (not including the 25% nonrefundable deposit or processing fee) can be refunded if cancellations are requested at least 14 days prior to the start of Spring Camp. Refunds are no longer possible within 14 days of the start of Sprouts. If a late cancellation is due to a medical emergency, a written, physician-authorized note is required before a refund can be issued. This policy is in effect for any and all sessions of Sprouts. Sprouts participants that do not show up for their registered session will not be granted a refund or be rescheduled. If participants leave early on one or more Sprouts days, they will not receive a refund. After March 17, 2019, refunds are no longer possible.

We are proudly accredited by the American Camp Association, the only accreditation organization for camps in North America. The Association is recognized for its standards for camp health, safety, and programming. The organization partners with the American Red Cross and the American Academy of Pediatrics to ensure that camp practices are current and high quality. We believe in inclusion and welcome campers of all abilities. Only 7% of ACA- accredited camps provide an inclusive setting that allows participants with and without disabilities to enjoy the experience together. We are proud to be one of them.
