You may also choose to send your child to Camp with lunch. If you choose to send lunch, please note that your child will need to carry their lunch with them (all Zoo Campers receive a complimentary Zoo Camp backpack) as we do not have refrigeration.

Pizza Fridays! As always, all full-day Campers (regardless if they purchased lunch from the Zoo or not) will have cheese pizza and pop on Fridays.

Snacks: A light snack will be provided every day for no charge. Your Camper is welcome to bring their own snack if they prefer.

Note about allergies: If your child has any food allergies, you may contact us at adventuresinlearning@czs.org for a list of snacks and their ingredients. You may also read more about our allergy and medication policy and protocol under the FAQ “What if my child has allergies?” You are always welcome to send your own snacks or lunches as well.

Schedule and Weekly Themes

All Camps have a strict limited capacity and cannot be exceeded. It requires a lot of planning to make Zoo Camp great, so registration will close promptly 14 calendar days prior to the start of week of each camp or once capacity is met.

We are proudly accredited by the American Camp Association, the only accreditation organization for camps in North America. The Association is recognized for its standards for camp health, safety, and programming. The organization partners with the American Red Cross and the American Academy of Pediatrics to ensure that camp practices are current and high quality. We believe in inclusion and welcome campers of all abilities. Only 7% of ACA-accredited camps provide an inclusive setting that allows participants with and without disabilities to enjoy the experience together. We are proud to be one of them.
