Rescued California Sea Lions Get New Lease on Life

Brookfield Zoo recently welcomed the arrival of three California sea lions, including two pups rescued after being found stranded and undernourished off the coast of California. The new pups join another rescue, Tanner, who has his own unique story.

Threatened Ornate Box Turtles Hatch at Chicago Zoos

The last of 26 ornate box turtles hatched at Lincoln Park Zoo and Brookfield Zoo this week as a part of an effort to restore native populations in Western Illinois. The hatchlings come from nine different clutches provided by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS).
