Bottlenose Dolphin - Spree

Spree was born at Minnesota Zoo on August 16, 2002 and first met Brookfield Zoo Chicago's dolphins when they were temporarily housed in Minnesota during a renovation in 2009. She came to BZC along with our dolphins once the renovations were completed. Animal care staff describe her as very sassy and she tends to hang out with Noelani and Allison, who are of similar age. Spree can be identified by the mask-like dark coloration around her eyes and her long, slender rostrum (mouth). By adopting Spree, you are helping us provide the best of care for the Zoo's animals.
