Milkawesome

Milkweed is not actually a weed…it’s awesome. It’s “Milkawesome!” Case in point – it feeds monarchs. Well, monarch babies, to be exact.

A few weeks back, we took a look at a monarch butterfly and some of its tell-tale traits. Now that we know what to look for, I’m going to post some pictures on Twitter of orange butterflies that may, or may not be monarchs.

Leave no cheek unturned

A new type of monkey, the white-cheeked macaque, has been discovered in Tibet! How exciting! It is always thrilling to hear that although humans think they know everything about everything, they are occasionally reminded that they are wrong.
