Celebrate Easter at Brookfield Zoo with Breakfast or Brunch

     Brookfield, Ill. – At 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, Sunday, March 25, and Saturday, March 31, families can enjoy Breakfast with the Bunny at Brookfield Zoo’s Discovery Center. Additionally, a 1:30 p.m. Easter Champagne Brunch is offered on Sunday, April 1. With live music, costume characters, and delicious breakfast and brunch menus, both events are sure to provide all families with the hoppiest of days!

During Breakfast with the Bunny, attendees can enjoy live jazz banjo music from the energetic and entertaining Banjo Buddies, take photos with costumed characters Mr. and Mrs. Bunny, and indulge in an all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast with selections that include seasonal sliced melons and assorted berries, bagels with cream cheese, fresh muffins, English muffins with jelly and preserves, pastries, cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage links, French toast with maple syrup, breakfast potatoes, white and chocolate milk, regular and decaf coffee, teas and fresh chilled orange juice.

The Banjo Buddies and costumed characters Mr. and Mrs. Bunny will also join guests on April 1 for the Easter Champagne Brunch, offering guests a larger and more diverse selection of scrumptious breakfast and lunch items including, but not limited to, omelette and carving stations (with whole baked honey cured ham, inside round of beef, garlic mashed potatoes, silver dollar rolls), a variety of baked goods, scrambled eggs, bacon strips, breakfast sausage, traditional Caesar salad, chilled shrimp with sauce, smoked salmon with lox, grilled chicken marsala, salmon, pasta alfredo, rice pilaf, a delectable sweet table (miniature cheesecake slices, miniature brownies, assorted European pastries, butter cookies, seasonal fresh fruit and berries), white and chocolate milk, regular and decaf coffee, teas, fresh chilled orange juice and champagne for guests 21 years and older.
