Brookfield Zoo’s ZooBrew Features New Ticket Options

Enjoy Bears and Beers, Lions and Lagers, Anteaters and Ales, and More

Brookfield, Ill. – Brookfield Zoo’s annual ZooBrew – a fun-filled, unique beer-tasting event – returns on Saturday, August 24. The 21-and-over event, sponsored by Blue Moon Brewing Company, offers zoogoers the chance to sample more than 80 ales, lagers, stouts, porters, and malts while taking in wildlife and nature.

More than 16 national and Chicago-area breweries will be serving-up a mix of classic and new brews, including from 2 Fools Cider, Ballast Point Brewing Company, Brickstone Brewing Company, Finch Beer Co., Firestone Walker Brewing Company, Hacker-Pschorr, Heineken USA, Kinslahger Brewing Company, Leinenkugel’s, Mike’s Hard Lemonade Co., MillerCoors, New Belgium Brewing Company, Noon Whistle Brewing Company, Pampelonne, Revolution Brewing, Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., and Tenth and Blake Beer Company.

Attendees can tailor their ZooBrew experience and choose from three unique sessions. All sessions include all-day admission to the zoo, free parking, samplings from more than 80 beers, and a commemorative tasting glass. Designated driver options are also available and include unlimited soft drink beverages (no sampling of beers).

The Full and VIP sessions will also include a silent auction, giving beer enthusiasts the opportunity to bid on a wide selection of memorabilia from participating breweries as well as gift cards to local attractions, restaurants, and hotels. In addition, live entertainment will be provided by the band Hello Weekend, who will have guests dancing to top pop and EDM music. And, several of the zoo’s animal ambassadors will make appearances for up-close experiences.

The cost for the Full Session is $55 and allows attendees access to the ZooBrew tent from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. In addition, a variety of food options will be available for purchase. A designated driver ticket is $35.

The VIP Session is $90 and allows early entry to the tent beginning at 2:30 p.m. as well as exclusive access to the VIP Garden sponsored by Brickstone Brewing Company, featuring samplings of select specialty brews and food. A designated driver ticket may be purchased for $50.

New this year, ZooBrew is featuring a Half Session. The cost is $35. Admittance to the ZooBrew tent for guests attending the Half Session is from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. only. A designated driver ticket costs $25.

Located on Brookfield Zoo’s East Mall, ZooBrew is for adults ages 21 and over with valid ID; children will not be allowed to attend the event. Tickets are limited and available at CZS.org/ZooBrew. Event will proceed rain or shine.
