HOWL Fundraiser to Benefit Chicago Zoological Society’s Animal Care and Welfare Initiatives

Brookfield, Ill. —  Eat, drink, and socialize at the Chicago Zoological Society’s  (CZS) Associates’ 2nd annual Helping Our WildLife (HOWL) event on September 17. Proceeds from the fundraising event will benefit CZS’s animal care and welfare initiatives as well as its conservation and education programs.

The fun-filled evening features delectable fire and ice-themed hors d’oeuvres and drinks while mingling amongst the animals. The main event, which is from 7 to 9 p.m., takes place in the Seven Seas Underwater Viewing Gallery where guests can view the zoo’s charismatic bottlenose dolphins. An optional VIP cocktail hour in the Tropic World habitat, home to western lowland gorillas, orangutans, and other primates, begins an hour earlier at 6 p.m.

Tickets to the main event are $150 per person and $200 for the VIP cocktail hour plus main event. For additional information and to purchase tickets, visit CZS.org/HOWL.

The Chicago Zoological Society Associates is a volunteer group of young professionals from around the Chicagoland area who all share a passion for animals and conservation. They serve as ambassadors and support the Society through fundraising events, conservation education, and advocating public awareness for Brookfield Zoo’s animals, research, fieldwork, and education programs.
