Environmental monitoring assesses annual and seasonal trends of ambient conditions at the Punta San Juan reserve.
Monitoring consists of evaluating the environmental temperature, sea surface temperature, speed and wind direction, humidity, solar radiation and precipitation. All this information is taken every day, three times per day.
Data collection is achieved by using an automated weather station and specialized equipment. This information helps us to understand the environmental variation in the Punta San Juan reserve.
