Brookfield Zoo Express Bus

Brookfield Zoo is accessible via bus or train. Both options will take you to the zoo's South Gate which is located at 3300 Golf Road, Brookfield, IL 60513.

Pace Bus Routes

Throughout the year, you can take Pace Bus Route 304 and Route 331 to Brookfield Zoo. The Pace bus service stops just outside the zoo’s South Gate. If you need detailed route information or door-to-door directions, visit or call the RTA Travel Line at 312-836-7000.

From Downtown Chicago and Western Suburbs

Free Admission for Military Personnel

To show appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the men and women in the United States Armed Forces, the Chicago Zoological Society is offering free admission to Brookfield Zoo to all active, reservist, and retired members of the military. Qualified personnel who present a valid ID at one of the zoo's admission booths will be admitted free of charge.
