The Teen Conservation Leadership Conference Returns…Live and In-Person!
The Teen Conservation Leadership Conference is the teen-created and led event that aims to inspire young people in community and conservation. This conference is renowned for celebrating and elevating young people along their leadership journey. This year will be no different.
Hosted at the Brookfield Zoo by the Chicago Zoological Society’s King Conservation Science Scholars in partnership with Lincoln Park Zoo, join us as we celebrate a day of curiosity, connections, and contributions.
This year’s theme, “Curiosity, Connection, and Contribution,” is based on the natural leadership journey that doesn’t just inspire change, yet champions and accomplishes it. Both emerging and seasoned experts will lead interactive sessions that embrace curiosity, amplify connections, and empower contributions that are authentic and personal.
Intertwining with a multitude of diverse voices, faces, and experiences, conference attendees will leave feeling reinvigorated and excited about their connections and contributions to the future of the natural world. The conference will also host a hybrid expo that highlights internships, jobs, volunteer opportunities, and other youth engagement programs that will help young people get and stay connected as well as enhance their leadership skills.
Call for Proposals
On behalf of the Teen Conservation Leadership Conference Organizing Committee, we are excited to announce the 2023 Teen Conservation Leadership Conference call for proposals. This year’s conference will be held at Brookfield Zoo on July 21, 2023.
Our goal is for attendees to feel reinvigorated and excited about their connections and contributions to the future of the natural world. Therefore, we are looking for diverse voices, faces and experiences to lead some of the interactive sessions and discussions that will be presented.
