Does your community group want to get into the holiday spirit early? Join Brookfield Zoo in gearing up for our Holiday Magic celebration by participating in Community Tree Trim. Sponsoring a tree is a beautiful way to support the zoo and celebrate the 39th annual Holiday Magic! School groups, scout troops, families - all are welcome to participate in Tree Trim!

Community Tree Orders Include:
- 20 admission and 5 parking tickets
- A fully LED-lit tree (no need to bring lights!)
- A sign featuring your town and the names of those who decorated and donated the tree 
- Trees are placed throughout the zoo on a first-come, first-served basis

Community Tree Pricing:
September 1, 2020 - October 2, 2020 - $140
October 3, 2020 and after - $160

New Order Process:

Step One - Please click the specific day button above to purchase your tree, additional tickets, parking passes, or patches.

Step Two - Once you've secured your tree, you will recieve a confirmation email with a link to reserve timed tickets for the day you will be coming to decorate your tree. You will ONLY be allowed to decorate your tree on the day you select. *Dates are first-come, first-serve and can't be guaranteed.*

*Please note: Everyone that is planning on coming to decorate your tree must be registered for a specific entry time. Each car needs its own timed ticket reservation for parking and admission. You will not be allowed to enter the park without your reservation and tickets*

For Online Orders (Credit Card)
You will receive a confirmation email immediately confirming your tree purchase and any additional tickets, parking passes, and patches. That email will also contain a link. You will have to click that link to select the time to come and decorate your tree. Once your entry time has been selected, you will then receive your tickets. You will also receive a confirmation email that includes your tree number and location within two weeks of your order date.

For Check Orders
Please fill out the Tree Trim check order form and submit it to Brookfield Zoo with payment. Once your order is processed you receive a confirmation email immediately confirming your tree purchase and any additional tickets, parking passes, and patches. That email will also contain a link. You will have to click that link to select the time to come and decorate your tree. Once your entry time has been selected, you will then receive your tickets. You will also receive a confirmation email that includes your tree number and location within two weeks of your order date.

Commemorative Patches

Everyone in your group can remember that special day at the zoo with this unique commemorative patch. Patches can be purchased at the South Gate Shop from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday or Sunday, November 14, 15, 21, or 22.  Patches ordered online prior to Tree Trim Weekend can be picked up at the South Gate Shop during Tree Trim Weekend as well.
 

Ornament Guidelines and Removal

Click the link for a complete list of suggested ornament guidelines along with some creative ideas from previous years.  If your group would like to keep its ornaments, you can remove them January 1-16, 2021 during regular zoo hours (10:00 am to 4:30 pm).  Ornaments left on trees after January 17, 2021 will not be saved. Free Admission for Military Personnel

To show appreciation for the hard work and dedication of the men and women in the United States Armed Forces, the Chicago Zoological Society is offering free admission to Brookfield Zoo to all active, reservist, and retired members of the military. Qualified personnel who present a valid ID will be admitted free of charge.
