The aim of this project is that the information collected through Punta San Juan Program serves as input for education purposes in all the schools involved with our projects, to develop and implement a participatory plan of action aimed at reconnecting local children and their families with nature. Children who participate in this project, are expected, with time and with the activities carried out, to develop empathy for living things as well as to demonstrate an understanding of the intrinsic relationship between themselves, their community and the environment and also an understanding of the importance of protecting wildlife and biodiversity.
