African Dwarf Crocodile

These small crocs are native to Central and Western Africa in forested areas, typically in swamps or slow-moving streams.  They reach maturity around 5-6 years old and usually stay less than 6 feet long from snout to tail.  Their eyes are placed high on their head, allowing them to see above the water line while stalking prey.  In the wild, their diet consists of fish, frogs, and crustaceans.  They are also believed to catch small land animals.  Adopt the African dwarf crocodiles to help provide expert care to this vulnerable species.
