Grab your glow sticks and running shoes and join us on Saturday, November 18 for the Reindeer Run. With a 2-mile course entirely within Brookfield Zoo, you and your family can “fun run” under the lights and be the first to see the lights of Holiday Magic.

Space is limited, so don’t wait to register!

Start Time: 7:00 p.m.
Non-Member Registration: $30.00 Race Fee + Sign-Up Fee
Member Registration: $25.00 Race Fee + Sign-Up Fee

Fun run individually or with your family and friends! Strollers are welcome and children riding in strollers during the race do NOT need to be registered. Only those walking or running need to be registered.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

5:30 PM: Registrants can enter and check-in at Brookfield Zoo’s North Gate Entrance

5:30 PM – 9 PM: Pavilions open with music, plus food and drinks will be available for purchase

7 PM: Reindeer Run begins! (Last call for bib pickup)
9 PM: Zoo closes for runners and spectators

After the Race, registrants who are 21+ with valid ID can pick up their complimentary beverage, courtesy of Revolution Brewing.

FAQs

Where is packet pick-up?

There is no packet pick-up for Reindeer Run. Simply enter through the North Gate Entrance after 5:30 p.m. to receive your hat and race bib.

Are strollers allowed?

Yes, strollers are allowed. Runners and walkers with strollers will be asked to line up last at the starting line.

Will Reindeer Run be timed? Can I walk?

No, Reindeer Run is a non-competitive, fun run and will not be timed. Participants may walk the course. Prizes will not be awarded.

Will animal buildings be open?

No, animal buildings will not be open during Reindeer Run.

Can my family watch me?

Yes, but they with very limited access to the Zoo. Spectators must remain in the designated spectator locations and may not wander the zoo or Reindeer Run course. Only registered runners wearing their race bib are allowed on the course.

Will food be available for purchase?

Yes, food will be available for purchase in the Pavilions during Reindeer Run.

ALL REGISTRATIONS ARE FINAL. EVENT WILL PROCEED RAIN, SHINE OR SNOW. PROGRAMMING SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
