The green tree python is bright or dull emerald green with thin white or yellow spots and stripes. They have a large head that is distinctly shaped compared to the rest of their body. Males tend to be larger than females. Green tree python young can be yellow, red, or brown; all color variations may occur in the same clutch. Males tend to be larger than females.
